Empowering Vulnerable Communities in Africa

What is Compassion Africa Aid?

Compassion Africa Aid is an indigenous organization established by NGO-Act under permit number 6159 in line with Ministry of Internal Affairs, File No. MIA/NB/2020/07/4007. We are distinct from "Compassion International" and "Compassion Uganda", focusing on partnerships with local communities to achieve our objectives.

Vision

To address, improve and transform the quality of psychosocial and spiritual challenges, predominantly experienced by orphans and other vulnerable children (OVCs), women and the elderly aggregated by HIV/AIDS-infection, cancer, TB, Polio.

Mission

To create an empowered socio-economic, psychological and spiritual environment for the children, women and elders to live to their full potentials.

Goal

To empower, promote and protect vulnerable children, women, the elderly and poor communities to live safe and secure, healthy and meaningful life.

Our Activities

Making a difference in communities

Sponsorship Programs

Seeking funding for vulnerable children/youths, women, and the elderly to uplift their livelihoods.

Educational Support

Partnering with schools to provide primary and secondary education sponsorship.

Infrastructure Development

Supporting construction of classrooms, staff-rooms, and provision of equipment and materials.

Community Partnerships

Working with CBOs, NGOs, and FBOs to promote education and community development.

Strategic Objectives

To seek funding for sponsorship using a variety of educational approaches to build knowledge, skills and self-confidence.

To promote primary, secondary and vocational-skills education that is job-creation for the underprivileged population in communities.

To prevent child-abuse, including: child-labour, forced marriages, domestic violence and other forms of immoral activities.

To improve the well-being of vulnerable children/youths, women and the elderly.
